Jill Dempsey

VP of Impact

Jill has over 16 years of experience as an executive, investor, and advisor. For over a decade, she was a General Partner at Dolphin Capital, a boutique $100 million venture capital fund. She led diverse investments including the GSL Brine Shrimp Cooperative, Ragnar Relay, Winder Farms, and Foundation Source. As COO & CFO of Manduka, she managed the company’s successful exit. She leads multinational companies through strategic investment & divestment projects. She was most recently CFO of BlueStripe, a European student housing business, and COO & CFO of Rocketail, a transportation business that she sold to a publicly traded company.

Jill serves on several nonprofit boards including Uplift Educational Solutions in Mexico, Watering Hope focused on nutrition and mental health, and US Friends of AMAR. She previously served on the Guadalupe Schools Board of Directors and as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at Marriott School of Business for over six years. She is passionate about building sustainable ecosystems that equitably support all communities. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Jill is earning an M.A. in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University.
